Earlier my Z would show standby time of 14-15 hours and more than one day if I activated stamina mode. Nowadays it's showing standby time of just 7 hours and 13 hours if I activate stamina mode. What went wrong? Is it some app I must have installed? or is this the normal standby time?

My brightness is set to minimum and autobrightness is off.

The only thing extra SnapDeal is giving is the SD card. but to be frank I would rather get a better SDXC card. Ya it is a definitely a better deal than Flipkart. Anyways, the Headphones they are giving are worth Rs.790. The same would be true for the pouch.

Karun, Tapas

I am more interested in getting the Bluetooth headset! That is more useful.

@pbhat

I am looking to get a Bluetooth headset and the dock. That way I won't have to keep messing with the flaps.

Is the new Bluetooth headset going to be launched here soon, or I'm thinking of getting the MW600

Karun, I think you should hold the decision to buy MW600. I have it, and it is good but I think you should wait for the latest headset. MW600 is now almost 3 yrs old. I hope they might have improved on the sound quality of SBH20. I hope you are not talking about the Bluetooth Headphone DR-BTN200M. Plus the new one has NFC

Has anyone tried playing mkv files with the native video player?

I can see them on my Z in the album with a thumbnail, but when clicking on a video it says "the file you are trying to open cannot be played....

That's odd thought we had passed the days when Sonys cant play mkv via the built in player, that's an issue I had long ago in my Xperia X10.

Is it a high quality mkv e.g. HD1080P@30fps? Maybe the Z has a problem with those.

Download MX Player from Google play store.

I've got other players, but since there is a "Films" sony application on the Z, very neat actually, it recognizes series and movies and classifies them as such.
I tried other mkvs and now I've got video but no audio

I think the native player doesnot recognize AAC streams from the MKV files. You might want to check that.
