@luwi, the explanation is the gateway that you are currently using prevents the download from completing (gateway limitation). it's not the phone. i have downloaded the matrix theme with background from esato (6k approx.) without any problem. i'd like to remind you din that i'm using ericsson gateway, have been, always been.
@migueltan, gilbert said in short, "not possible." i suggest you deal directly with sonyericsson. you can find the numbers to call on the first post of this topic. my opinion on this matter is that the fingerprint of the mc phone is detected by the mms upgrade regardless of the previous firmware installed on the phone (mc or m).
update for luwi: it does not matter which site you go to, it's your *gateway*
