I emailed Sony Ericsson for a UK release date and had a reply back saying August. Only a month to go ha.
I would go for a K800i but thinking about it I wouldnt be able to use my 4GB Memory Stick Pro Duo inside a K800i as they take them silly micro memory sticks.
Has anybody in the UK seen the pre-order price on expansys? Bloody stupid price that is for a phone....

To me it looks like SE will distribute them in this order:
1. Hong Kong, United Arab Emirates, Sweden
2. Germany, Norway, Switcherland, Spain, Italy, and probably rest of europe
3. United Kingdom
That's what I make of it after reading the posts here and on my-s.

Just thought you would like to know, I went into the Orange shop yesterday (UK) and picked up the July 2006 catalogue, in the "coming soon for August" section, the P990i is in the middle section, Orange say that the phone should be ready to buy on the 7th August.

- if Voda is saying Aug, this is in line with SE's UK eShop. Probably means it will be available in Hong Kong and rest of Asia in July, i.e. available from most of the distributors on ebay
- Really wish the m600 had WiFi. If it had WiFi, there would be no reason whatsoever to waste our time waiting for the P990!!!

Michal from my-symbian just said SE told him P990 starts shipping "very soon" - he concludes this means July for some places
