these are really great news.....but what worries me is the size of the phone....looking at recently announced 4" screen phones from other manufacturers,they are all way bigger than the xperia x10......i just hope sony ericsson will not make the device bigger than the x10.....
has anyone got any information about the size of the phone,thickness or weight?

I'd like the phone to have a similar thickness to the X10, I find it comfortable to slip into your pocket. With it still having a 4" screen I can't see it being vastly different in size.
If SE are in as tight with Google as they say they are then Video Calling is a possibility as Gingerbread supports it.

Since the camera module has now changed from 12 mp to 16.4 mp with Xenon flash, I am sure its now thicker than the 10mm it was supposed to be. Maybe 13mm or 14mm thick now? Considering the satio with 12mp and xenon flash is 13mm thick

So how is it an "addition". ? I had no info on the exact numbers, now I do and its 16 GB.
And as for the 16.4 mp camera, well I believe it is indeed possible and such changes before announcement do happen. Initially when the "X12" project started the camera was not decided. Later they went with 12mp module but I do believe there is a very high chance that the 16.4 mp module has made its way inside the X12

Its not so easy for them to just change the specs thts wht i feel cause already
has history of is late for delivering products late n if they upgrade the spec they will delay the announcement or Launch the model late again

they wud have already made so much plans for X12 wit old specs if they upgrade the new spec then again they will have to do SO MANY GOD DAMN TESTING or whtever they have to do..
they have to do it again from beginning this will again delay
to deliver us X12 by then HTC/ samsung will have a product

IF JANUARY is the release date then I am okay with its November announcement. I'm beginning to think that these specs are real. The X10 has taught them a lesson in that people will buy a technologically sound phone but if it is handicapped by an older OS version then it will suffer. This thing is likely to be one hell of a best-seller assuming the specs are real and it comes out in January.
I would still love a P1i type of Android phone though
