Good point. After 4 months since I bought the 750 it is looking dead to me.

The firmware page says that:
- BUG: Java applications can no longer turn on Bluetooth (i.e. the message "Failed to complete this enquiry" appears rather than the question "Allow application to create server bluetooth connection?")
I don't have this problem on my phone
R1N035
prgCXC1250036_EU_3_CL
LCD SW version 0
Camera SW version 4.5
on Orange.
Does anyone else not find this an issue?

Okay.
O2 aren't too happy with

at the moment over K750i firmware. Basically its all down to the BT headsets O2 gave away to new customers when they got their free K750i. Basically, the headset & the phone didn't work as spec; this was down to

's implementation of BT 2.0 on the phone. O2 won't go to R1N035 as it doesn't fix their BT issue (however T1Q055 does - but that's another story.)
Voda are currently happy with their current K750i firmware release.

@happycheesecake
That is the first time here I heard something that adds to a suspicion that I have regarding the BT operation between the K750i and a pc with a bt 1.1/1.2 dongle...
Wilst the k750i BT 2.0 is backward compatible I am willing to bet the phone freaks out from time to time with "inferior" BT protocols...
This I havent tested yet but I soon will when I get my hands on a BT 2.0 dongle...
About your T1Q055 I bet we will never get anyother f/w revision via SEUS that they dont want to release...
I have contacted SE and O2 extensivle and O2 for the most party seem to be unaware of any other f/w releases by SEUS...
I wish I had never bought my K750i now I should have holded until they stop fitting it out with our freakin money....

Actually its the other way around. The attached device disconnects because the K750i keeps poling for EDR (Enhanced Data Rate)

T is test firmware and R is release firmware. I actually test Bluetooth & WiFi devices for a living so @ work I get to play with all lots of devices. BTW, we've brought some 3,000 K750i's so far, and have about 9,000 on option.

You're not connecting to the right people at O2! I have (@ work) contacts for all major UK networks. I can't hand out phone numbers, sorry.
What BT dongle are you using? We should have examples @ work of every BT device sold in the UK so I could do a BT sys-test between some K750i's and your dongle, if that would help.

@ The Cheesecake
Any idea on release date for R1Q - and any other fixes that will be included.
Called O2 2day who suggested I contact SE about a new FW (R1L+) as they would be most likely to know when it was coming out. Oh how naive.

I am sure the morons that answer the phone on O2 are the wrong people but I am unaware that these companies actually have any right people that common mortals like myself can speak to or even email....
Heck I known If I were one of them (I am at my job) wouldn want to deal with a lot of grief form the people that for better or worst actually pay the wages.... I have the choice and good service with a smile is part of the package.... Nothing like a bit of tongue and cheek...
Well if you wanna try something at your work try this...
Start the Media player on the K750i and have BT enabled on the phone.... (I use the Belkin BT dongle F8T008uk) Now send a file via BT to your K750i wilst playing that song on media player.... It doesnt matter if its the windowns drivers for the dongle or the latest from belkin....
Post the results....
I have tested with several K750i same results all the time...
Quote:Actually its the other way around. The attached device disconnects because the K750i keeps poling for EDR (Enhanced Data Rate)
I dont agree since in my experience the device or devices remain connected.
And if the K750i like you say keeps polling for EDR than it shouldnt, not when the device(s) are not compatible... And actually the devices should really ignore this polling....
But in reality has I say I have no experince in this...
What the point of being backward compatible when you keep insisting on talking in a incompreensible "tongue"...
on the T and R subject....
Read again...
I bet we will never get anyother f/w revision via SEUS that they dont want to release...
I am happy that you get such a great job satisfaction but none of the 3000 k750i or the other 9000 on option can really cure the annoying list of bugs they contain...
One thing is for sure it doesnt help me... what would is the test I suggested and the results... heck the cure is a f/w that fixes the issues with bt and sw...
