The Daylight flash mode generally is for shot a medium or near distance object in high light having as a result well balanced lights in object and background. For these pics better use Daylight mode II that has ISO 100, but it really doesn't make sense to use the flash in landscape pics.
I have not seen a well done sample with daylight flash yet in this post
TIP:
1. Try Daylight flash mode I portrait shot (1/6400, ISO 250) at evening.
2. Try Daylight flash mode II portrait (near) shot (1/6400, ISO 100) at daylight.
2. Try Party mode II (1/8, ISO 320) at sunrise.

I've observed the photos taken with K790i in this forum, and found K790i gives much better photos than K800i, especially sharpness. Am i correct?
