download and install the backlight utility from palm.com. maybe you haven't noticed the quirk about the backlight yet.

and of course the BT, IR, serial T39 driver for the palm m505

hello pa rin.

@yiz19
the T39m driver (BT, IR, serial) is the driver you need so your phone gets "recognized" by the m505 - unless it's already installed in your pda.

got GPRS right? hehehe now you can surf/email/wap from the web. btw, I use the blazer browser. dami pang iba eh, check out mapalad.org website for more info (and the mailing list and discussion forums @ brighthand)

here's the discussion about browsers by pinoys(?) at brighthand.

download mo rin package 2 from (thanks arnoldc sa tip about package 2 and SMSing from the SW. bug in the text manager: it uses (seemingly) random names when the sender is not in the contact list)

@GOwin: I already have the T39 setup to GPRS by following the instructions over at mapalad.org using an IR connection. I won't be needing the serial or BT. How different will those extra drivers be? Also, what's package 2? Sorry for all the questions...I'm such a newbie at this.
