Can't update my firmware on an Unbranded K750i (the black one) I have Vodafone SE as Operator.
This is the error I get on SE update. (In swedish sorry!)
"Din enhet får inte använda den här tjänsten
Din operatör medger inte att du använder tjänsten för denna enhet.
Vi ser fram emot att få hjälpa dig snart igen.
Tack för att du använde Sony Ericssons uppdateringstjänst! "
Roughly it says that my operator doesnt not allow me to use the SE update service.

The problem when buying a black, unlocked K750i with original SE firmware from Vodafone stores is that even though the phone appears to be just as you bought it across the street it isn't. The phone has some items locked (like GPRS settings) and the CDA is blocked at SEUS.
Please confirm what I write by doing a test. Open the service menu (press joystick once to the right, press *, press joystick twice to the left, press *, press joystick once to the left, press *). Now, select "Serviceinfo", then select "Programinfo", scroll to the bottom of the window and check what CDA number you have (the numbers that comes after CDA). Please post the result here. If your phone is allowed to be used at SEUS, then the CDA should say CDA102337/12 (since you're from Sweden running Europe_4 firmware).
Please post the result. If the numbers are correct, then there is some temporary problem at SEUS. If the numbers differ, then the phone is blocked by Vodafone even though it's bought totaly unlocked/unbranded.

@Leviath
I just tried your test, Re-
Start the Media player on the K750i and have BT enabled on the phone.... (I use the Belkin BT dongle F8T008uk) Now send a file via BT to your K750i wilst playing that song on media player.... It doesnt matter if its the windowns drivers for the dongle or the latest from belkin....
The file transfered as it should, whats happening with your handset ?

@Leviath
Okay, will test a few K750i's against various Belkin BT adaptors tonight, when I get to work.
The reason why I've got test firmware to play with is because we brought matching HBH-662 BT headsets to go with each K750i ordered. And they don't work correctly with the K750i. So as I test BT devices,

Sweden supplied us with test firmware that could go to release firmware later on.
HBH-662 is a BT 1.2 device. Strangely enough the HBH-608 headsets we were sent to test were also BT 1.2, yet they seem to work fine.
Leviath, I can tell you're upset by the whole issue and I'm well p*ssed off myself by having to recall thousands of BT headsets to replace them with others. I'm trying to help - honest - but my way with words isn't always the best way of putting things across!

Then it's just a temporary problem with SEUS and not a problem with your phone

I just connected my k750i via USB after upgrading and now it is reconized as a W800 and I needed to download the W800 USB-drivers in order to access the memorystick?! Anyone else have this problem?
And now if I try to update again I get a message saying that my operator dosn't support my phone - It is unbranded and I have updated several times before!
