I dont see any disadvantage....its like putting a tv on standby mode instead of switching the power button off

hello guys, im so kind of depressed , can u help me, i was doing the p910i update service , and when the phone was being updated- the electricity went (delhi) and the pc switched off. and now when i switch on my phone it just shows light and nothing is on the screen and i cant do any thing
what should i do , please help, urgent

but its without bill, i mean i got it from a friend whose dad works in a company and gets free sealed phones from SE.
so he sold it to me, it has the unfilled warranty card inside. so will the service center guys make it fine ? or not?

No idea....here in bombay they charge 550/- for updating firmware on a non warranty phone....but your case is more than the standard fw update
