JK: Do you know on what contract they're offering the W995? Most important though, is there any pay-in?
Was contemplating the X1i and the wirelessmonkey warned me off it...saying that its WM 6.1 OS was antiquated. I'm thinking that it can't be half as bad as my current POS.

Not sure on the packages yet... but it is the same price as the E71 so should be on similar packages...
I was not impressed with the X1... I used it after the Touch Diamond and the X1 had nothing more to offer.

I very pleased to tell you its not branded!
I had the C905 and it was branded, Vlive had the right shortkey, left shortcut and up shortcut... and you are NOT allowed to change it!!
Was a terrible handset to use.... but 20% Vodas fault and 80% SE for the crap cheap design. This W995 is another world compared to the C905 even though they almost exactly the same on paper...
The camera quality is good, 8Mp cam WITH autofocus, cant remember another Walkman phone with autofocus... Its just missing the xenon flash.... Oh and it has facial recognition which is cool, the C905 had it but it never worked as well as this one....
Also the branded C905 had Voda demo games which is crap, this has 6 of the most awesome mobile games!! Been playing them everyday since I got it. Even the apps that are built into the phone are quite clever, it has a sound morpher app..... you record something and it morphs it into different types like a robot, bird, deep voices.... Did something naughty the other day.... recorded a voice and sent it to a friends voicemail lol lol he fell for it!!!
But the most important thing on this phone is the reception, I tested the signal quality and its unbelievable for a 3G phone, dont remember any other phone with such good signal on 3G and GSM... Im trying to pull a record of the 6310i which imo was the best in terms of signal quality.... if I get it will be interesting to see just how good it is.
Oh and with good signal comes battery life ofcourse........ 4 days with real abuse!!!! Charged it 4 times in almost 3 weeks!!
