Seeing that I'm using two lines this would definitely be on my 'next buy' items while waiting for the P1i-esque Android phone.
If the specs are true then I won't care much about the price.

A person at a swedish mobile forum said, in a discussion about X12, that he was told by a friend working at Ericsson to wait until spring to buy a new phone indicating you know what. If this is true 1) X12 wont be released in february rather end of march/april. 2) X12 will probably be running on the U8500 platform since the information came from an Ericsson employee, not SE.

Ya, that's more like SE that. March/April does sound plausible which makes you wonder how competitive the phones from the other manufacturers will be.
I'll wait for this upcoming announcement but I did question the January release date. Let's wait and see.
