No software needed to transfer files to the W900i, its recognised a mass storage drive and will show up as a new drive under windows explorer. Just drag files and drop, easy .
Great phone BTW not too keen on the branding but will flash the phone when i get a new firmware

You can use 3gp or mp4 format movies (i use 3gp converter and nero recode for mp4). You'll have to transcode all other videos into those formats, I like 3gp converter as its VERY fast on my dual core pc, takes me about 10mins to encode a 45 episode of CSI and the quality is fine on the w900i. You'll need to edit the file encoding ini files as theres not an optimal one for the w900i, i'm still trying to find the best settings but its very good at the moment.

The 'do not remove usb' sign is to prevent lost/corruption of data when you remove the cable before the files have finished transfering. The safe way of doing this is as follows; right click on the w900i drive in windows explorer and then select eject, then once thats done you can safely remove your usb cable BTW you should do this for ALL removable disc drives (ie- usb drives, cameras, etc).

P.S- Jenko; ive sent you a short trailer via email that should work, please let me know

Sorry forgot to attach the video file re-sent you the vid now, and heres a link on how to use nero recode to ecode mp4 video for the k750, its just the same for w900i except you can use a higher bitrate (around 300-400kbp) and higher res (max 320x240).
HTH

Setting i use for the 3gp converter are;
Xvid based 3gp conversion
Video res: 320x188
Vid Bitrate: 350kbps
Audio: Stereo 32bit 22k

heres a link for the prog :http://www.divx-digest.com/software/3gp_converter.html

I'm currently having problems though, long videos ( 1hours+) seems to lose sync near the end and are pretty much unwatchable after the 1 hour mark... will try messing around with settings a bit more when i have time
