Oh, please! Just because you own a Nokia N95 you think it was the best camera phone before the INNOV8. The K850i was/is better than the N95 period.

The best camphone before the Samsung was the Nokia N82. Also, looking at the new pictures of the C905 vs the INNOV8 the latter doesn't look so hot anymore, the C905 does look somewhat more realistic in colour rendering though in terms sharpness it is rather unclear which one is the winner IMO.

The k850i remark, was of course, just your opinion, and in no way a fact. Of course, your remark would be supported on a se forum, but really...for a long period, the k850i sucked ass, photo wise.

I myself prefer the innov8 to the c905. The pictures are fantastic. Also, lets not forget that further updates to the innov8 can and will probably improve the camera's ability's.

I look forward to nokia's release of their 8mp (possibly touchscreen) n-series handset.

Hello, davicol. I'd accidentally inserted one of my photo into your Innov8 section. Is there anyway to remove it from there? Or can i continuously adding in others?
Really sorry for that.

Comparing your photos from the INNOV8 with Marcus Radecker's C905 photos I would say that it's clear that Sony Ericsson has plenty of room for improvement.

For example, look at the grass and tree leaves in this INNOV8 shot and compare with this C905 shot. The C905 is using too much NR, maybe because of noisier sensor or not so great lens. The C905 may have a Xenon flash but what good will that do if the photos look like sh*t anyway?

Don't worry. The Photos gallery is for everyone to post in. I'm sure davicol would be more than happy to share that space with you and all other INNOV8 owners that may want to post their snaps.

@abubasim-you chose thw worst pic in the marcusdecker arena.Show me a low light clicked by the Innov8 as good as that by the c905.The pics by hr C905 R1AA085 were really good.

Check a few samples from the smapre view or the mobiel review one, they are quite good.

se_dude, What are you doing in this thread? Looking for someone saying bad stuff about SE phones?

Good low light from the C905? Assuming of course that it's something reasonably close! Compare this INNOV8 shot with this C905 shot. Both were shot in Auto mode according to the EXIF data but the result is very different. The C905 seems to have a problem with exposure in scenes that are too far for the Xenon flash. Notice how the car in the lower left corner in the C905 shot was hit by the flash but the rest of the scene is almost pitch dark.

The C905 sample I chose was the first one that looked somewhat similar to davicol's shot, with both trees and grass. Here's another one. Still a bit fuzzy in detail.

You mentioned SM@PE. Here's an INNOV8 and a C905 sample to compare with. Still the same problem.

I know that some people feel that color and saturation is more important than fine detail at full resolution. For me it's the other way around. Color and saturation can always be fixed afterwards before printing. Loss of detail on the other hand can never be recovered -- unless you're prepared to spend a long time on each photo painting back leaves and grass in Photoshop. Good detail is important if you print blow-ups or even more so when you have a (camera) phone with such as high resolution as 8 MP and you want to crop your photos to just view or print smaller parts of them.

Has anyone compared pics using C905 smart Contrast? In low light this made the pictures absolutely amazing.
