@deddot

Yes, for manual focus you have to set the focus on infinity and then to manual focus. All modder use this procedure. And it is pretty obvious. If you set focus on auto or macro, and then you set the focus. But when you press down the camera switch or press centre soft key for taking pic, camera would again start focusing and your manual focus is lost.

There is one camdrive from autochrome having only manual focus as manual setting. Here you can select manual focus by just zooming a little and then set focus by EV buttons. But here as well, you have to set focus on infinity first.

@navar
i think i solved my problem in previous pm to you..

finally i found a method to use real Manual Focus

once you set focus into manual, you dont have to change to Infinity mode.. yes, completely disable auto focus.. just wait i upload from my laptop, i'm on mobile now..

@caesar2008
do you have link to that driver..?

nope... my k850 not fully back to life yet... i am waiting for a replacement for the keypad...
now i just adjust and use.. caring not to press anywhere between '8' and '9'.....
and if it gets accidently pressed, i do a restart and will be working fine until next contact..

@ NAVAR,

does your new cam driver has a problem registering red color...?
because i think its the same like in the original driver, with a little saturated. But the real red color is not
produced.
Do check the red color with bright red objects, if possible in tube (fluorescent) light.
