I still want it.
I don't play any heavy games on my phone, nor doI have a lot of constantly running apps.
I like the ICS interface more.
Too bad they pushed it back. =/

I think I need to root my Arc S cause it keeps showing me phone storage is low. I can't believe this. I hardly have apps and most of them are on memory card. And there are apps that are useful which are on phone memory. I want to take out those lets golf, office suite, nav pilot or something. Need to make some space.
Any easy way to root?

Am I the only one who thinks the ICS update for the 2011 Xperias is seriously f**ked up? We don't get the Xperia S calendar, media player, messenger, Timescape, new widgets, we're stuck with the Gingerbread photo gallery instead the ICS one, the new camera interface is shit, the Cosmic Flow doesn't come build in, the new UI is some ugly mixture of the UX, NXT and ICS interfaces, with some parts of the UI not customized at all. I love their old skin with the glossy icons, it was so polished and completed and well optimised, unlike the new one, and don't see the point in upgrading.

Have you tested the video recording at 720p?? I experience some stutter that wasnt there before the update...

Well, I hate the fact that they don't address any of our gripes in the new ICS update but in all fairness, they did state explicitly that some of us might prefer gingerbread in the 2011 Xperia family lineup. They're probably refering to you

No no, I don't want to upgrade to 4.0, just because Sony's version of Android 4.0 is seriously f**ked up. And I already wrote my arguments. I actually love Android 4.0, I love the new interface and functions, but Sony ruined it all. If they really wanted so bad to put a custom skin over the default one, they should have done it the right way, like they did with the UX skin for the Xperia 2011 line-up or the NXT skin for the Xperia S familly. Otherwise they should have left it intact. But no, they decided to combine them all in one, so that the 4.0 is 33% UX, 33% NXT and 33% Holo and the result - just shit. And now they state that people will probably prefer to stay on 2.3.

Well, we just heard that the new ST21 with Qualcomm MSM7227 processor, clocked at 800MHz, runs with Android 4.0. So, please, let me show you how good have Sony's developers managed to port Android 4.0 to 2011 Xperias:

In my personal opinion, this is the ugliest Android 4.0 custom skin I've ever seen. Their Android 2.3 UX was the best, but the Android 4.0 UX+NXT+Holo is just shit.

Sorry you're not happy with the UI. I can't say the same, I love it so far except for some minor niggles. Especially love it that we can zoom in at full crop and kill apps off so easily
Some compatibility issues and bugs but should be ironed out not too long now
