Definitely sounds like if you want this phone, hold out for the Exynos version, it will be worth the wait.
Plus the price might go down in the meantime
Fingers crossed the UK gets Exynos 5.

The prices prior to launch are always silly. I would have thought you guys would be used to seeing such sillyness since you've all been on Esato for a few years now.

Everytime i go to that site, my antivirus goes mad !!
It did it the last two links you posted from there this past week or two.
Regarding the chipset, i dont think the UK will get the Exynos version. New technology is what sells to the lesser geek consumer. So the operators and Samsung will want to sell the Snapdragon version here in the UK regardless of whether the network supports LTE yet.. or not !

But equally Samsung will want to promote their own chips if the Exynos 5 will run with LTE as now confirmed. After the initial batch of Snapdragon chips I can see Samsung bring in the Exynos chips and then use these going forward.
Snapdragon only seems a stopgap while E5 chip production is ramped up.

Samsung aren't helping themselves with this. It's obvious the Snapdragon versions are purely to meet demand until the E5 chips are in full production.
Agree with Bono, the average user won't care, but the power users really want the Octo.
@daviep - thanks - that's a high price and I would need confirmation from the retailer that it was the E5 version.

Exynos is the way to go for power users, Sammy make some beast SoC's but we wont get a flourishing dev community due to it... And I cant stand TW based ROMs!
The pricing amazes me, especially when I look down at my N4 sitting there in all its £280 glory!

+10 so true how come Google/LG come out with such a quality cheap quad core that performs maybe even better than many Samsung devices in some areas.

4.2.2 update for Z is ready, will be out in 2 weeks according to zomg.

So it will be out WAY before GS4 releases.
Two weeks passed and Sony is... still behind.
