Connected the phone to the pc with PC Companion and had there an update waiting for me,still 4.3,nothing big,but noticed that now the camera button turns the camera on also when the phone is in sleep mode.
later I got also an on air update for the phones Album

I went ahead and got it yesterday
. Went with black after all... Mainly because it's the only colour my provider offered. I could still exchange for a white one it, but I think I will be more satisfied with this colour in the long run. Black is just a classic colour that pairs well with anything. I will start later with setting it up, I just charged it so far, so my impressions keep within limits... All I can say right now is that the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact just screams premium smartphone, dat metal frame

Was so close to buying this one until I saw that the new Xperia Z2 has timeshift video - something I would LOVE. Do we know if this is going to be added to Xperia Z1 Compact with the kitkat update..??
