Thanks to whoever bumped this thread recently. Been looking for a Canadian thread but didn't see it. I don't think I lasted more than 4 or 5 pages of surfing for it however.

Out here in the West, in the middle of the prairies with a K750i and a 1GB MSPD expansion card.

2 thumbs up for the K750i. What a sweet phone!

Other phones I've owned, in order oldest to most recent:
Ericsson??, Nokia 5180, Nokia 8260, SE T68i, SE T616, SE K750i.

@bacanito: que muy interesante que hay colombianos en estes forums.
Tengo una esposa colombiana e pasamos las viajes en colombia tambien. Conosimos muchos colombianos aqui.

Anyway, glad I found the Canadian thread. Let's keep it active! Or at least on the first page so it doesn't disappear again!

Ha, my thread is still alive!!

Well, I rarely come on here anymore...I still own a k700 *hides in shame*
my interest for cellphone has gone down a bit...i don't use if for functions other than phone+txt anymore...i have a car now, so no use for mp3 functions and all...but i still want a k750i at some point, or something like that...

Nice to see some people still read this...maybe i'll make somewhat of a comeback

and btw, if anyone can post how to get the wap/mms settings to work on Fido with a k700, customer service is useless if you don't buy the phone from them. thanks.

I could give you my settings for Rogers, but I think they are not the same as Fido, so they probably wouldn't do you any good. You'd be better off searching the settings the SE > Email Settings etc. forum.

I understand the motivation change. When I first got my T616, I was in these forms every day, for months. But then I just stopped coming here. But then I got a K750i, so I came back and I've been on here lots. Looking for java games, utilities, firmware upgrades etc.

Hang in there till summer. There are so many new SE phones coming out, that by summer or fall the K750i should be cheap cheap cheap.

Lots of technology for the cost, that's for sure!

Hey guys! I'm from Toronto, and I plan on buying the K800i. I have a question... Since it doesn't have GSM 850 but does have 1900. Will the network reception still be any good for Fido? And when I do get the phone, how do I get on the internet with it? not with 3G right? ahaha sorry, I'm really noob with cellphone stuff.
Thanks guys.

yeha im from TO too. and i have two k800i. yeah the reception should be fine on fido. i have a k800 on rogers and the other one fido (well used to, switched to rogers last week) but they both worked great. and to get on the internet u should go to the sony ericsson website and they'll send u the setting to your phone. and of course it is not going to be 3g
