p3rsmag: Aardvark & mango are special weapons. You have to pick up a weapons crate before you stand a change of obtaining them.

I agree that they both work really well. How annoying is it when the initial blast of a mango throws your enemy clear of all the exploding shards?! This shouldn't be changed though - it's all part of the uncertainty of war!

Floss: Glad you like the Genetically Modified Carrot suggestion. I look forward to using it.

I can see what people are saying about not getting much chance to use a bluetooth option, but my brother's planning on getting a P900, which is why I'm so keen. Only problem is that he lives in Birmingham and I'm in London. Does bluetooth have a 100 mile range?....... Didn't think so.

I wasn't sure whether to simply stop that happening, or make them melt after a couple of turns. Weapons crates shouldn't give you weapons tied to particular maps now.

They are a little too powerful to be available all the time. You have to grab the weapons crates for these.

Wouldn't it be cool if you had a weapon that could dig through the ground or walls and than dropped to the ground below and explodes. If you know what I mean. For instance a mole (to stay in the underground theme) or something.

That you can release it on a spot and than have like 2-3 sec to get away. Than this mole starts digging through the ground and when it is through it drops to lower level ground and explodes. IMO it would be a nice weapon. However it should only be available in the weapon crates.

Yeah, a really cool idea! I prefer that to the digging methods in Lemmings and Worms.

Installed the game but cud'nt get the hang of it, again tried to play around with it after reading here that so many people liked it & boy its great...just if you could include instruction in the demo version (as they are blank in the 1.18 demo) so people trying it will get the hang of it easily...great job again.

Floss, just wondering why if I receive a call in the middle of the game, the game will go on silent after I've put down the call? I then have to exit the game completely and start again to get back the sound. Maybe a bug, not sure, anyone else with this problem???

Hi,

Yeah, the sound loss when receiving a call is a bug which is common to all my games at the moment. I was made aware of it in Ultimate Football last week and I will be looking into it. I've never received a call when playing my games, so I'd not noticed the problem.

There won't be a new release of Soldier Ants for a week or two now as I'm busy adding BlueTooth support to the game. Its quite a hard slog but an interesting job to do.

Yeah I know bluetooth is a mess in Symbian..
And thats why I voted against bluetooth in the game, cause it will take to much time from you and the result will be that most players wont use it.. (don't want to be negative) but thats what I feel about bluetooth in a game for a phone that almost no one has.. especially not people playing games.. (except us in the forums, but we all live in different places)
