@basteo7:
I don't know. My friend just offered me the new f/w. I said NO. My R1ED001 is just great. I only rely on the official SEUS. When a new f/w is out, it's the time to run the update service. No need to hurry. Mine is just OK.

The latest firmware as far as I am aware is R1EG001. R1ED001 is the one before it.

See firmware overview for the K610 / V630

Also see the 1st post in this thread, R1EJ001 was released on 10/10/06 but not on SEUS for the K800.

Isn't this a k800i thread?

A reply to the question above my post, so on topic.

Why not look at the first post ion this thread? It will give you all the information you need.
Additionally, why did it cost you money? You can download it free of charge via SEUS.

He/She probably used the update feature in the phone to download it via GPRS. The file is quite big which is why it cost them so much.

I am using firmware R1ED001 that upgraded from SEUS. Now, I discovered some problems which don't happen previously as follows,

1) Unable to delete "Multiple" records from phonebook. After marked several, the "C" key not functioning. However, I can delete several from messages.
2) After plugged handfree HPM-70, sometimes it prompts "Continue playback through speaker" when turn on music using the playback on top right button. However, the earpies sign still show on phone. Everytime I need to re-plug the earpies and it go back to normal. (Is this a firmware bug? or my earpies problem? )

I don't know whether anyone highlighted the above problems with K800i. I just post it since I don't see this on first post.

Thanks.

I have a K800i with the latest software locked on orange
Lately for no reason(no updates, and I didnt drop it) my camera has some issues. After I take a couple of pictures my phone when i try to take another picture just goes out of the camera software after the flash goes off and the picture is not saved. Or after i take a couple of pictures tha camera goes black and although the settings of the camera are displayed i cant take any pictures or record a video since it doesnt work(at this point even the camera test doesnt work it just shows a black screen)
I tried reseting the mobile phone but got no results
Anyone can help????

Unless I am mistaken, being charged by the minute relates to "dial-up", and this is not a function of GPRS. Second, there are no operators that I know of that charge by the "file size" but rather by the packet, i.e, kilobyte per usage. Please correct me if I am incorrect.
