you really need to work on your eye sight... either you are really biased or you have got serious eye sight issues. All the modded drivers gives better and sharper pictures compared to the stock. Yes, no doubt some have higher noise (due to increase in sharpness I believe), but it still gives better pictures compared to stock.
For me I find Genus 5,4 and number1 2.89 to be very good with lower noise and balanced sharpness. 2.9 I can't say as I would only comment after I test it personally
Mate, nightshots with Number1 and Genus are a nice disaster, like the stock but with more noise. Maybe our firmwares or our stock driver version are making the difference, I will not rate your eyesight.
But I have to say something, the ONLY driver that REALLY KICK ASS is Kopritis 2.7 with fixes.
It's funny to see how Number1 and Genus NEWEST drivers are looking worse than the old Kopritis 2.7.
They MUST analyse it before releasing new drivers. And Genus must learn to assign driver numbers (5.4 and still so bad?)

I think Kopritis noticed that he raised maximum possible quality. You can test 2.7 fixed, 3.6 or 3.71 and compare with others.

I think you need to test camdrivers more thoroughly. For example, try genus 5.4 and take a picture in very low light on EV 0, then try the same picture on EV 1.7 or 2.0, you will see that there is a lot of difference in the noise. Also genus has put ISO changing option for flash pics by changing EV. So dont just say that all modded drivers are bad and stock is good. Why dont you post a comparison between stock and modded se we can all see.

So dont just say that all modded drivers are bad and stock is good. Why dont you post a comparison between stock and modded se we can all see.

I know because he told it in his own thread on Page 30 at 2007-12-09 18:53.
He asked for feedback on se-nse so I tested it.
I know there are newer/updated drivers, but not 4 us....
