@benling
WOW!!!

5.2 inch display but smaller than z1 and same size as z? that's insane!

Ooh, like a Z2 Lite.
Edit: Just thought of it, this could be Xperia C1 or C2.

It is about G2's dimensions if true. so this is sony's answer for people who wants very thine bezel but don't mind the mid-range specs. nice.

@amir
could be something like that, but other theory is Sony might save the dual two-tones LED for latter half true flagship.
Sirius maybe called as flagship for many, but I think it only Z1's minor change/refresh.

Something wrong with xperiablog. They showed old posts instead of new ones

@HxH
Releasing a refresh while naming it "Z2" is just wrong. some call it a lie. name it "Z1 something" then, but no, they name it "Z2". they should not announce any flagship or refresh and instead work on camera processing and bugs and release faster the android versions for people who bought Z1 and show how well Z1 camera can stand against the new flagships. lower the Z1 price, support your consumer who bought your flagship just less the half a year ago instead of announcing a new one just because others announcing their flagships! you don't see LG announce a new flagship even though they announced the G2 before the Z1. now they are just fixing Z1 hardware shortcomings like no IPS display, a bit better camera processing which they should introduce to Z1 update, not to a new flagship and trying to make the camera look new - it's the same sensor! etc.
they need to eat what they baked for Z1 and put major support for it while working on Q3-4 announcement. we all agree that they need one flagship per year but they think they are smarter.

Well said amir
From what it seems now, there won't be any "major" camera update for the Z1 ever.

It was never gonna happen, just false rumours, even the Z2 probably won't have a camera update, it will be the same as Z1.

As it was mentioned, speculated, guessed, or pure BS, whichever, it is probably the imaging division that is holding the camera back on the Z1.
