i mean thats all well and good for samsung and company but i hear the X series walkmans screen is AMAZING, and its the same size ... i REALLY hope se and sony get their shit together and realize economies of scale ... if its a price point issue i think that making more of the screens would lower the cost of only having them in one device, the capacitance is negligible i guess if i had to choose i would choose OLED. i think they can and should, i dont think practicality or price are a factor other than tradition at this point, the japanese arm of these company IS in fact using OLED in their phones (for a small pd now) so theres really absolutely NO excuse to have TFT in a end-all be-all that theyve propped the Idou to be.

It's a prototype, so maybe things can change before launch.

And we have been over this a million times before. Everyone thinks that if they go oled and 16 million their screens will be top notch and pawn all meanwhile they already do with their TFT and 256k screens. Its just the fact that you guys want a phone that sounds new and fresh and sparkly nice. hell i will be certain if SE releases a phone with such a screen but the other stuff is low series stuff you will all go(those who want such screens)omg finally a phone with oled screen and 16 million colors its the best!

I read somewhere that the N86 has variable aperture? Is it true?

"A plug-in WiFi accessory has been rumoured for some time. Whether it will show up in 2009 or not is anyone's guess."

Does this mean that we will be able to use WiFi with older phones ( like W910)?

The new direction that Windows Mobile has taken has convinced me that it is ill suited for the xperia line. Its quite obvious that they are focusing on the new home screen+ the hexagonal menu + the start button, which defeats the purpose of the panels.

I like the new WinMo and hopefully SE can integrate it into some smartphones, but I highly maintain that the panels should evolve into the actual UI of the xperia phones and not just a skin.

MWC is not over... SE could announce something else.. but even if they didn't, i'm pretty happy.

I'm looking forward to Idou and hope it gets announced and released ahead of schedule. Totally wishing there was an official spec sheet of some kind...

Have a couple of questions...

Is there a reason why the C901 is not listed on the UK SE website...
are we definitely getting it?

Does any one know if there are any other Candybars on the way from SE?

Thanks,
