When is Sony Mobile Japan and Sony Mobile Global going to start integrating so we can enjoy what the Japanese enjoy?
They have had a lot of bestsellers in the Japanese market and have done for the best part of a decade, what makes them think they won't work elsewhere?
I guess it's gonna take some time.

Update
All the 2013 models have 2gb RAM. (high end)
Also MSM8974 equipped models will be released in second half 2013. 4.6" 720p MSM8974 + 2gb RAM (Not just 1 model, but only this is confirmed(sort of!) for now)
MDM9615 modem will be used with APQ8064, it supports LTE.
Also sorry for the confusion, all those phones 4.6".5",6" and 10.1" tablet have TFT LCD screens not OLED. OLED 720p and 1080p screens would come later in the year around Q3.

I agree. It's far too early to speculate what might be available this time next year - a lot can change between now and then.
Right now, I'm more interested in finding out whether the GX international and / or Mint will come with LTE. It doesn't make sense for them launch high-end phones without it when a lot of countries, including the UK, will more than likely have LTE up and running.

At least one variant of those high-end 2013 models should have waterproof+dustproof capabilities, just like what they did with xperia acro s

Could be some first batch release, unless Qualcomm survive a Snapdragon S4's shortage problem.
I really wonder how Sony will manage to get chipset supply regularly, even HTC a partner with Qualcomm just can't survive this matter.
Because HTC has decided to change chipset in One S from originally announce as Snapdragon S4 to S3 in sales for Asia market.

This will determine by how globally has a respond to this kind of product, if it sales well you can expect a successor.

I don't think LT29 international will come with LTE just DC-HSPA+ at most, due to the differentiation frequency / band to each market that still unable to decide which one will be universal unlike 2100 band. and about don't forget about firmware and maintenance concerns as well. LTE will get limited to specific market for years and depend on operators to roll next batch of investment.

Why can't Sony manufacture their own CPU chipsets when they are capable of developing them? As far as I know, the quadcore CPU in PS Vita is made by Sony together with toshiba and IBM. If I were them, I would ditch Qualcomm which had always given them old chipsets.
