Just wait for IFA that's what I'd do...............

Sony's version of "Project Zero" will be here before you know.

Yeah can't wait. Really smart to name it z3+, would also be smart to price it lower than the competition (doubt they will though).

Best thing Sony has done in ages.My only problem is that this should have been released on April to undercut some of galaxy s6 sales, but still it's right on time.If they choose to go with aggressive pricing, they have a winner in their hands.Plus, when the real flagship arrives, they'll have a nice mid/high range offering.

I wish I could, my Z1 is basically screwed up with random reboots and shutdowns. I've reset it twice and nothing fixes it, same problem on kitkat and lollipop. I'd have to send it off to sony to get it fixed but that would take 3 weeks easily and I have no back up phone. At this moment Z3 is the better bet, cheaper but basically the same. Don't trust the SD810 in the Z3+.

All I'm going say is there's no smoke without fire and IFA will be the launch for the all new Xperia.

This seems to be a trend, new phone expected to be awesome, comes out and meh. Perhaps Sony realized they need to break this pattern or the mobile division will go the way of Vaio.

Good question, perhaps another mid-level device. Run down of the current and upcoming stuff, using info from xperiablog.

E20xx - E4g
E21xx - E4
E23xx - M4 Aqua
E53xx - C4
E55xx - Lavender
E56xx - ???
E58xx - Next compact?
E65xx - Z3+
E66xx - New flagship?
E68xx - New Phablet?

Perhaps the E56xx is a new T4 model, but the T3 had D51xx, so perhaps this was killed off in favour of the M4 aqua?
