Sub agrees with me...
Since the prototype was leaked, I said it looks cheap/ugly like E4.
What I dont understand is the fact Compact is usually only 100 cheaper than bigger brother.
But it never has exactly same stuff.
Z3c with plastic frame, cheaper look and less RAM. It does not look glass to me.
Z5c looks way cheaper than z5, also less RAM and no heat pipe.
Xc without IP68, no SD820, no 13MP selfie ( lack of space probably), cheap built.
XZ1c : 32GB, no metal body , same selfie downgrade
Difference could be a bit more... Maybe 200,00

It seems like the Sony mobile management is doing this move on purpose. The Xperia flagships are getting less attractive from generation to generation. These new flagships are neither attractive from a design perspective nor hardware wise. Declining market share due to unattractive models as reason to sell off the mobile devison of Sony.
If I'm not wrong Sony is making more profit with seeling camera sensors to other OEMs than with selling smartphones. They should probably just sell their smartphone business and concentrate their resources on their display and sensor businesses.

I mean yes, I did really wish for trim off some bezel but not rework for all of it.
Who has signed and make pass this work of design, I would love to read about their inspiration.

The pricing of the XZ2 and XZ2C has been revealed by a Swedish site and also confirm the headphone jack is gone.
Sony Xperia XZ2 price is at 7990 kronor, while XZ2C is set at 5990 kronor.

XZ2 looks decent in the colors other then black, at least on those photos, but XZ2c is disaster.

What SONY's management cares about mostly is the sales numbers, and from the initial comments from major anti SONY tech sites "either writers or commenters" and how much they liked it and how much they are feeling it's a step in the right direction if this is also translated to sales it will be a hit that SONY mobile needs from long time ago
Regards the XZ2 compact, I feel that it's back FPS and camera and sensors are way better than that of the normal XZ2

The green colour looks amazing to me. The compact is growing on me a bit.
I don't think that there will be a Premium flagship at MWC, but I hope it happened so I don't have to wait for 6 more months.
