If your problem is that bad then take your phone to your local se service centre and have them flash it back to R1L, also shared in this post
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=104999
hopefuly this will keep you going until se get their fingers out of their backsides and sort things out

Updated the first post to note the memory stick corruption issue seen on some R1N phones. Additionally I have noted which firmwares are released for the W800 and which for the K750 only.
For those asking "What is Davinci", just have a look at the first post in this thread or search for "DaVinci" using the Esato search tool. Esato contains answers to all these common questions, and it's undoubtedly quicker to find the answer through search than it is to post a question and wait for a reply ... or as some say

Personally I suspect that a number of the people experiencing problems with R1N035 are probably the same people who experienced the random crashes and other issues with the first firmware releases.
Most of these original problems and by the looks of things most problems that have been reported with R1N appear memory related in one form or another.
I am certainly still inclined to think that there is definitely a duff batch of K750i's out there and no matter what SE do with firmware they will always experience problems.
Fortunately I appear to have been rather lucky in that my K750i has never exhibted any of the major reported issues like MS corruption or reboots/crashes, but the fact that I am running R1N firmware (and the earlier firmwares too) without issue, whereas others running exactly the same firmware have so many issues it would definitely point to the root of the problem being a hardware fault.

That could be true... although when i first got my k750 (r1a) it would crash quite frequently now with r1n its fairly stable, as it was with r1j aswell.
But I think ive just experience this new fault with file transfers. I copied 2 videos across to my phone and when i went to play them 1 wasnt even there and the other just said "playback failed" everytime i tried to play it! I think SE have introduced some new faults in r1n and this one is a software issue as i had no probs before!

Its always a possibility sure, but for every one of those people who're still having problems, theres many more who had problems on the older firmwares that no longer have.
Slowly the K750i bugs are being erradicated. As for these new bugs, such as disappearing files, i've never experienced those so i cant confirm them to be true - and i copy lots of files to my phone daily.

OMG i didnt even get a sorry, all i got was send it to the main SE service point in banbury! i disagree with the duff batch claim as that wud mean we (with new problems) would have had probs from previous fw if it was a hardware prob, my fone was mint b4 R1N. neways im not sendin it to em they had my k500 for a month

i've managed to get mp3s 2 stay by puttin em in the mp3 folder and not openin media files folder, cud sum1 also try that?;-)
