And I'm still laughing at news of the Jalou's announcement. SE certainly knows how to knock the stuffing out of rumour-mongerers fake photoshop peddlers;-)

LOL yeah, I agree. Quite angular lines for something so blatantly orientated for the fairer sex.

Nokia and Microsoft...

Suddenly methinks of a real gem of a phrase coined by a certain William Shakespeare, which has been used in politics and business for a good few centuries, namely 'strange bedfellows'...

Sorry guys,
1) NO high res pics, (got home past 8 last night so i did not have good enough light... will get better pix, as i have access to the phone at night till Sunday)
2) No crying like a baby (see below)
So last night I was fortunate enough to play with the Nokia N97, as the Mrs got a live unit and they have to learn how the phone works and what features is available, she was allowed to take the phone home with her and I got to play with it…
When I took the phone in my hands, it felt a bit on the heavy side, you will not forget you have this one in your pocket.
The CPU does perform much better that the one in my 5800xm, as expected since it has a faster CPU.
In short, I would love to have this baby, but I will not cut my wrists for it. Compared to my 5800xm, I do not think there are that many differences, other than the qwerty keybord, and 5mp camera.
It stays a beauty though.
I would like the faster CPU, making the whole experience faster, the screen is a bit larger, and still looks good. I dont much like the qwerty keys, i prefer the onscreen typing. The camera, well i would also like to have 5 mp over 3.2.
My honest opinion, when I have to chose between the two, (without taking price into consideration) i will take the N97 without a doubt, BUT including the price, i will take the 5800 without a doubt.
What the N97 offers over the 5800 is not worth the difference in price in my opinion...
(Okay, now you are allowed to crucify me, but at least its an honest opinion)

Great review Rhino

its a stunning phone i must say, but ye nothing much over 5800xm. Its not like the 5700xm and N95-8GB where there was a gigantic difference in almost everything except the S60v3 FP version.
