LOL Gucci, or maybe we've just become so saturated with specs n' stuff that it'd need something pretty groundbreaking to get itself really noticed amongst all the established high-end phones out there.

Daaaamn, for the past month, each and every weekend, the city's been locked down with roadblocks, random vehicle inspections, etc. Apparently the powers-that-be are gearing up for 2010, so they've brought in manpower from the outlying towns to assist. I've heard umpteen complaints about how strict the cops are being, but isn't that supposed to be a good thing?

Thank the bloody stars the 2010 World Cup will be over by the time we go on holiday to SA again next year; I'd hate to think what the plane ticket prices, car hire prices etc etc would be if it was still during the World Cup...

Last night we called Debonairs to order a pizza and the chick on the other end couldn't understand my friend who was speaking in a clear English accent...I dread the thought of a drunk Russian calling up and ordering pizza.

Thanx a lot for that boet. Im not so sure what to think of it. It can be a good thing because Palm are trying to see which apps their users use the most i guess so they know what to focus on but at the same time bad because it gives away private info, wasnt Apple doing the very same thing with the 1st gen iPhone? now that would be frustrating for both lol. Most of these restraunts hire foreigners, we go to Mugg&Bean between Monte and sandton often and cant remember the last time we had a South African waiter/waitress.

Yeah when we eat out here, a good deal of the waitresses etc are from eastern Europe countries, particularly Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine and Russia.
