I just put it in an N95 and it worked fine and the card that was in the N95 also works fine in my TyTN II, so definitly something the K850 did on initial insert has caused this

You can of course use the SE service menu command to find imei.
...or simply type *#06# into the keypad
I've looked long and hard with a magnifying glass and torch and don't see the IMEI anywhere inside the battery compartment
btw, now that I have just checked... I also don't see it in the service menu as there is no hardware info option as I have in my P1 service menu.
Here is a photo that started my inquiry to the serial# & the IMEI.

I'm aware that *#06# shows the IMEI but with all the flashing it IS possible (and Illegal) to change it in the software of some phones. PHones ALWAYS had the SER# on a sticker bonded to the chassis ... I'm concerned this IS NOT findable.
Also since this may be the first phone capable of reading to memory card formats in 1 slot on the market .... maybe the K850i software writes a byte code to the card so that it can append to its file manager? Like a table of contents thing that CD-R's have. I recall using WinXP to burn 350MB on a CDR once, and then using Nero (the light version) to write another 200MB to it. When I inserted it into the CD again for WinXP to read it my initial 350MB of data was gone. In Nero I could SEE it but could NOT extract information from it, nor recover that space. I'm wondering if this sort of thing is going on Masseur.

hmmm. that doesn't look like a battery though. certainly nothing like my battery
it looks more like a part of the chasis that can slide out, which I definitly dont' see in mine

The IEMI can be changed only in GDFS, but not in OTP. It is possible I believe to view the OTP IMEI, so it should be possible to identify a faked-out handset.

Open the battery cover and remove the battery. Inside you will see a white strip of plastic with a small hole in the middle, using a paper clip or similar lift this and pull it out. This is the label with the IMEI etc on it.

I can't seem to get the handset to charge to 100% - it always says 99% even when on charge.
Has anyone else experienced this?
