ps. even a proto SHOULDNT have this color issues
But the earliest protos did have issues. If you go back to the very first picture leak, they look all washed out with blue in exactly the same way as PK's above.
Remember?
PK's is the earliest model. It still has 8 Megapixel down the side, rather than 8.1, so it is using the oldest sensor and the oldest firmware.

They look very light. Try document and -0.7.
I'm afraid it isn't a case of chaging any settings. The firmware is basically, crap. You can photoshop these pictures right afterwards, but cannot take them correctly. That particular phone won't take a good picture I'm sure.
rustam07 is right I'm afraid, it's the first sensor combined with the first firmware causing the problems.
On the bright side, it is a good comparison as to how far it has come!

notice that pictures by PeterKay (bad quality) and Virgile (good quality) are from handsets with the same firmware version: R1AA083

Then it is clearly a handset issue. Virgile is using the latest version with the 8.1mp sensor. But where did you get the Firmware info from PK's pics?

How exactly are you getting the full EXIF info? I can only view the cropped version on the drop down menu, and saving the pic I find it has most info wiped out.

Nevermind, I found one of the pics with the information still intact! I was just getting confused as to where you were getting it from that's all

marty,
1. JpegSnoop tool
2. Exif Viewer plugin for Firefox
reading EXIF with plugin is very easy but it lacks some informations. in this case JpegSnoop comes in handy
