Thanks again lads for the replies.
It wasn't so much the OS of the N95 I wasnt happy with. It was the build quality, 3 faulty handsets and the complete lack of customer service from nokia that I hated.
So, I dont mind an S60 phone.
I might just wait for the C905 to come out and see if it has a Word viewer on final release.
Oh, and also, whatever phone I do get HAS TO sync with my Mac - which the Samsung I dont think does. Hopefully the C905 has Word and can sync with Mac
Fingers crossed
Well I can pretty much guarantee the C905 won't have a WORD viewer. No A200 phone yet has had one built-in. I'd be happy if I'm wrong, but imho C905 won't have word viewer.
Syncing with mac (for pim info I assume you mean) shouldn't be an issue. MAC has supported syncing with SE phones for a while now. (but I'm not sure if you need a third party application or whether it's native syncml support is enough)
The CD you get with the C905 will probably only support windows.

Sony never supports Mac. Not with any of their products. So Sony Ericsson won't either.
The closest Sony gets to supporting Apple products is their iPod stereo decks, and they're just doing that to get some of that iPod cash.

I don't know about Samsung supporting Mac, but S60 3d party apps do. Actually guite a nr. of mac supporters (which usually hate microsoft) have found a liking in the s60. You might have a problem though if you 'hate' s60 and windows

And please don't confuse s60 with nokia. Yes,nokia started it all (s60 eventually come on top over all other symbian flavours) but now 3 out of 5 leading cell companies actively support it. (manufacture flagship devices with it) incidentally the other 2 which do not (yet) support s60 are the only ones which have lost market share this year

I didn't say that SE may support MAC, I know they won't. What I said is the MAC will support the SE
There is software for MAC (not sure if it's third party or not) that allows syncing with phones that support syncml (ie: SE, s60 etc)
Or what about syncing over bluetooth profiles:
http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/isync/
iSync supports A100 SE phones sync over bluetooth, but I don't expect it will be long before A200 is also supported. Infact I'd be surprised if it doesn't already work with A200 since nothing has changed in A200 bluetooth sync profile.
Syncing over bluetooth uses generic industry standard profiles, it doesn't rely in SE or Nokia or Samsung. If you phone runs bluetooth, there is a very good change it will work with MAC iSync, or some other third party (there are a couple of options)

Not true, Nokia have lost marketshare to RIM (RIM runs a proprietary OS built on J2ME)

yeh. firefox & its plugin softwares is just great
but the best (free) Exif software is Exifpro, it really awesome. it also feature a beatiful designed photo section there you can browse your pictures nicely.

Compare this to Microsoft's Windows Mobile which is written in VisualBasic
