I know plenty of women wih hubbies' kids AND careers
it's all a matter of timing, knowing when both you and your partner are ready, scheduling your life to it and just go for it.
There's no reason why being a parent would ruin your life. there's millions of parents that aren't ruined.

Thats the thing. Been together for 4 years. I think the hole problem is that couple of her friends have babies. Every time she sees them I get it in the neck about not having any kids and how she wants them.
