When the flash and lens are spaced very close together you get these halos when the flash catches dust that reflects the light back. You don't get this problem on cameras where the flash has a bit of distance from the lens as the light doe snot get reflected back.

I had the same problem and I had to debrand to get the lng files to work.
Step 1 - debrand
Step 2 - firmware update
Step 3 - update the cam driver to Vits or DM3.5 or DM3.8

I'm still trying to figure out best ways to use Manual Focus and Shutter Speed. Can anyone care to share tips of when/where to use those two functions?
