Sorry if this has been asked before but....

Is there anyway of making the PSP's mp3 playback louder? I've just tried using mine as an mp3 player, listening to it through the supplied headphones, and the volume even when turned up full is stupidly quiet!? I could barely hear any music once i was outside!!? Anyone else tried using their's as an mp3player throught he headphones?

No, mine was really loud when I was listening, I actually didn't have it on max, but when I used other headphones it was definitely even louder. So, I think that the supplied headphones, are good, but not the loudest things ever....

I got a starter pack by Mad Catz for £14.99 at Gamestation. It had a good set of headphones with it. Loads better than the standard ones. Still not as good as playing it through my cars speakers. Sounds great through them

Just in case anyone hasn't yet heard... there is now a confirmed fully working 2.0 to 1.5 firmware downgrader available for all PSPs.

http://www.psp-hacks.com/
http://www.psp-spot.com/

and most other PSP sites have the info...
