Yes, that is the PSPhone. It is a high end device but its already lost out. It will be released around the same time as the PSP2 next year if the plans stay the same. There are no analog sticks but instead, this track pad thing. PSP2 will have dual analog sticks. If the PSPhone were to have one analog stick, you would be able to pass it off as a PSP1 with phone functionality but thats not the case. Having no analogs will limit the games. The PSP2 will get FPS games like the ones we enjoy on the PS3 and that will be a massive selling point.
The only advantage I see is that the PSPhone will have a SIM card so you could play online anytime while I imagine the PSP2 will be WiFi only. I could be wrong, the track pad thing is multi touch so it may work well but I'm not so sure. I'm sure that the quality of games will be the best that we have seen but when you're on the train next to a guy with a PSP2, you'll feel like a weenie.
I know its a negative post but its more to do with strategy. It has to be worse than the PSP2 so that it won't eat up its sales as the PSP brand is very important for Sony. Its as if
are held back from making it as good as it could be. If you can play Modern Warfare on a mobile device online at a decent standard, every gamer will buy the PSPhone without a doubt. Unfortunately for
the PSP2 will do it better. Of course the prospect of game like Gran Turismo, Tekken and Final Fantasy on a phone are great and will appeal to many but just those two little analogs would make a huge difference.

I don't bother posting much, 100 posts in 4 years. But I got excited by the coolest new handset SE have had in a long time and wanted to see what the reaction here was but you're running around like a mother hen closing threads and being a kill joy. Good for you but it's incredibly boring.

LOL, get NowGamer to ask Sony about project Zeus and see if Sony have the first clue what they are talking about.
And if NowGamer asks Sony Ericsson, they'll still say 'no comment'.

Am totally on board with keeping the forum organised Goldenface! My whole point is that it's not rumour and speculation but I guess you guys have been hurt before so won't believe anything until whichever Sony Ericsson employee on whatever forum he shouldn't be posting on confirms something. Because if you wait for the official announcement before discussing a new phone outside the rumours forum, then you will be waiting a while.
This phone, called Zeus, is not a fake. I presume you are basing your opinion on the NowGamer or whatever they are called article. Not surprising that NowGamer have good contacts in the gaming industry but probably poor contacts in the telecoms industry.
Anyway, I'm bored now, I was trying to throw you guys a bone but it's like talking to a bunch of scared cats.

I'd have to agree. The device still looks very real, with realistic SE design features appearing on the phone (looks like an oversize Vivaz Pro & X10 morph to me)
It looks far more real then any Chinese fake (although they would be one to design a phone such as this)
I don't think this phone should be thrown out as a fake just yet

Only X12 wont be a big suprise in their portfolio.. It is obvious X12 will be better so this PS Phone is real

Now when we have seen psp-phone I think we can scrap all the hopes we had for x12 being a super-device. Why would SE release x12 with a different processor, or even brand, as this one? We can probably forget more than 1gig internal ROM as well (16gig felt fake from a SE-perspective anyway).
