My own Z1 screen is superb no wash out unless at extreme angles the black are inky black and the whites are pure white too and that was the same for the other 6 no issues here so far we are very impressed.

My source told me that Sony has about 1 million VA display that will be used on the Z1 and after that all the devices will be getting an AH-IPS or a S-PLS display.

Then we can get one, but then again you never know if someone sold you an old stock, or which stores have the lower quality screens.

Hmm, well I was hoping for a good LTE network from Plus here in poland, but nothing in the dorms, so I checked outside and well not bad.
The screen is quite bright, maybe the viewing angles are not optimal and I'm sure I saw better ones in the store but not much one can do about that. I am not a fan of the launcher sony uses, the screen real estate is not used that effectively but thankfully that can be fixed easily.
The camera is quite fast and the quality is not that bad if you ask me. The superior auto is good but I feel I get better results sometimes with the manual mode and 20MP. It is more heavier than I am used to and bigger but the premium build quality is amazing, puts anything from Samsung to shame.
The speed of the device is unbelievable, things open up so fast, search results now instantly almost, no lag ever.
Can't wait for the camera updates and hopefully 4.3 and 4.4.
