These picture are not capture at the same or almost same time (9 am and almost 1 pm)
I would like to see real comparison by take a picture by both phone in the same time.

Colours are warmer on the plus but difficult to say if this is due to the conditions or the new algorithm. The file size is also larger on the Z3+. There is slightly more noise, minimally on the plus, but it is also slightly sharper than the regular Z3. Looking at their comparison photos in the same preview, it is evident that the camera is warmer on the plus and there is that little extra noise and sharpening. Oddly enough the file size is larger on the Z3 in the comparison photo, this is all manual 20.7. As for superior auto, only the warmer colour is evident in my opinion.
In reality, the sensor in the Z series is capable of a lot but is held back by the algorithm as always. I would be curious to see how RAW would turn out from the Z line. While I am satisfied with my Z3's photos. I wouldn't mind if Sony upped the file size more and gave us more manual control, setting ISO to 12800, and shutter speed. I would gladly give up RAW in order to have true manual control.

OK, I don't know if you guys watched this video already but I find the photo quality of the Z3+ is really good. Definitely better than Z3. They must have improved their auto mode. Here is the link -

So, with Z+ now is official, lets go back for the next one, wether it will be Z5 or completely new name, but lets settle on a name ( or a codename ) so we can know what we're talking about, even if it was (Z5) with brackets to distinguish it as not official name.. just a thought...

Sony is playing the name change game. There won't be a Z4 phone. The three flagships in fall will be the Z5 lineup.

It doesn't look like Sony will be using the Snapdragon 820 this year. No Type-C on Z5 either.
