I found that EDGE enabled tower not bcoz of that software, but practically. Yesterday I went to that place and checked the speed by downloading a MP3 file in Phone's opera browser. At that time, the speed was showing 16KBps till the end. The download was very fast. So it proves that the BST is EDGE enabled(I checked it through MO connection).
Anyways, if you have non nseries phone, then you may try this trick. The software has been posted in the previous page of this thread.
Unfortunately, this software is not working on my phone. So no EDGE for me even though that BST is accessible in 6600.

Dude, HTTP-Tunnel is not working with MO("Only Firewall" mode). I have to specify a proxy inorder to work.
Anyways, today it worked. But I'm still getting "Already downloading....." msg from Rapid**are. Is it normal?

Dude, yes these days rapidshare in Http-tunnel works only sometimes for me too. We gotta find a better way for rapidshare. But it works nicely for Megaupload. And regarding http-tunnel, you dont have to set any proxy on MO. The auto-detect mode gets the proxy info from IE. So make sure ur IE is not proxy configured.
By the way, can u pls do a 'tracert 202.56.131.117' on ur MO connection and post the IPs of intermediate servers here. I am just curious to know if airtel live has a different set of server network.

I want to know, Network selection in phone (Manual/Automatic) if we select manual then can we select a EDGE enabled Tower?
I get reception from 3 towers in my room, so how do i know which of the three is EDGE? how do i stick reception from 1 particular tower?

No. I have configured my browser for 127.0.0.1:1080. But it doesn't works when I set it to "Auto" or "Firewall Only" mode. Anyways, as it isn't the effective way to access Rapid**are, leave it!
I have attached a screenshot of tracert command on MO connection. Plz have a look and try to make our Free GPRS like MO.

No. You can't select a particular tower by using network selection wizard. For that, you should have a software called "Field Test(FTD)" installed in ur phone. Download that software and install it in 6630(it doesn't works on N70). After that find neighbouring tower channels and signal strengths. Notedown those numbers and insert them on BST_TEST field. Then it will be selected as the serving channel.
REMEMBER:- You should be very careful while executing ne options on that software. If anything goes wrong and you don't know what you have done, then you will loose the signal on ur phone. You cannot undo it even by formatting phone.
For more information about finding EDGE enabled tower etc, contact our FTD expert
zolo. (He already posted the details in this thread. Just turn 2-3 pages back and you'll find the info you want)

No. Here also, IP is 202.56.231.116 for MO.

I have traced the DNS server of MO i.e. 202.56.250.5
Another thing, if you get lower speeds during peak hours in MO, you can switch your DNS server to get better speed. i.e.
202.56.250.5 & 202.56.250.6 --Bangalore(Fastest)
202.56.240.5 & 202.56.240.6 --Mumbai(Good)
202.56.230.5 & 202.56.230.6 --Delhi(Okay)
& there is a TouchTel server in same series. But it can't be accessed via MO.
202.56.220.5 & 202.56.220.6 --Haryana
