Yeap! the automatic jpeg compression gives blured pictures... i see that after a lot of test shots!
i'm working a new mod... but you have to wait a little bit!!!

yes. this had been discussed in the hybrid camera thread before. if i remember correctly, even chengrong and paparazzy made the observation that there is a loss in quality when using this kind of compression (made by gxg) in most instances. this is why i stick with the default jpg compression of the 4.5. and besides, I've lots of available megabytes of memory space left.

previous camdrivers of kriomag and sarmad uses the standard (default) jpg compression. i personally use the sarmad 5.03 and 4.81 (w/o automatic jpg compression version).

Hey guys. I tried out 4.81 on my CID49 W810 and it's great, focus works excellent and there isn't too much noise, but i noticed that maybe....i don't know.... maybe the jpeg compression is too big because the files size is small like ~350kb, because when i take a picture of for example a printed text document, when i zoom on the text on the computer I can read the text but very hardly, but with the old driver 8.54 i could see the text excellent even in poor light and the file size was 500kb. Perhaps someone can make a version of 4.81 with a bigger file size ? Maybe when you activate macro the filesize would be bigger to allow greater detail. It would be excellent ! And also thank you Sarmad for this driver.

ok, please try this version of 4.81 and tell me how it is now.. im very interested in how this works out for you, so please report back.

yep, thanks guguly

as guguly mentioned, this is 4.81 with original 4.5 stock compression tables.. compression is set to 89 since I've got a huge memory stick. gives you pictures around 500kb, not bad.

Sarmad's 4.81 with stock JPEG compression
