sorry did'nt go thru all the posts, but someone please explain me the logic of using two DUN accounts as stated in the first post

This message was posted from a WAP device

There is NO logic in creating TWO DUN accounts

Read my post carefully , you need to create ONE DUN account on your PC and TWO GPRS accounts on your mobile .

Hi,

I have nokia 7610. I made two A/C first in AirtelLive and Second in AirtelLive(1). I can connect both of them to AirtelLive site in My mobile (Charged not free) . But i can't connect my pc via mobile. My pc detect 7610 as modem but i can't dial *99***2# and *99***1# it show "PPP link error" in registring in network stage.

Make sure that you have selected "Allow unsecured password"
under the "Security" tab in the "Properties" window .

An important clarification regarding METHOD 2 . You must set "Internet Mode" as "Http" and not as "Wap" .

YES, you need to activate AirtelLive before you can use these methods. Its a free service. I suggest you call Customer Care and tell them that you want to activate AirtelLive. It will be usually activated within TWO days.

Did you change the setting "Bearrer" to "Data" instead of "GPRS Only" ?

save it-> edit

Password request: off

Allow calls: Automatic

IP address: (leave it blank)

DNS address: (leave it blank)

Authentication: Normal (only check mark)

Data compression: Off

Header compression: Off

STEP (2)
~~~~~~~~
Follow STEP (1) exactly, but the Name should be Airtel2
STEP (3)
~~~~~~~~

Go to ,

Menu-> Connectivity-> Internet settings-> Internet profiles-> New profile -> press OK

Name: Airtel1

Connect using: Airtel1

save it-> More-> Settings->

Connect using: Airtel1

Internet mode: HTTP

Use Proxy : Yes

IP address: 100.1.200.99

Port : 8080

Username: (leave it blank)

Password: (leave it blank)

save it-> More-> Advanced-> Change homepage->

Address : http://live.airtelworld.com/

Create a dial-up connection on your PC with dial-up number as *99***2#. Make sure that you have
selected the mobile's modem as the connecting device.

STEP (8)

Connect to the dial-up network on the PC. Once the connection is established, pick up the mobile
and try to access any site. Ignore the "Access denied" error. Keep the mobile down and start
using internet on your PC

Have fun
