Yeah! About a year ago I had endless debates with peeps about why 3G was predominating over EDGE in the SE line-up. Now not a peep And I've been proven wrong, I thought EDGE was on the way out. 3G hasn't established enough market penetration in that time, so EDGE has remained useful. SE are now responding to that.

They've proven they can respond just as quickly to market forces as Nokia.
Oh my, say it aint so?!! Sorry Max, as always your input is insightful, timely, and forward thinking. I dont see this as you conceeding but hey I couldnt resist to copy it in a quote cause its as close as it'll come!

Dont worry P990i will give 3G and they'll most likely be an upcoming strong 3G flipphone ... the 1010 or whatever has been long away same for the V802/z800 as well, so its replacement is due.

K750 is still a powerhouse. I see it as better in everyway in this time than the T68m/i, T637 was in theirs.

haha! Yes usually think carefully enough about what I say that It can't be easily disproven, so I'm not inclined to cede defeat quickly. Mind you when I make a blunder it's a biggy (just ask dan_akroyd)

Do not flash. Yes, it's a hardware issue.

Weird, it says there that W810's start price is 330 euros.

It looks pretty nice, not that many new features though. So I dont know why people are now looking at their W800i or K750i distastefully.

I"m excited for this phone...Those of us who are in the States really don't have a choice (unless you live in a big City and never travel out of it). Here in Oklahoma, Cingular uses the 850 mhz freq...so the w800i and/or 750 doesn't work very well
