What do you see in W950i? the only thing i see is 4GB and that is all.

hi, i asked this question on a separate thread earlier, but i think i didnt make my self clear the first time around-
does the
player on the W950 (yes, it is indeed v2.0) look up tunes via the TrackID system as the W850 does? (the reason i ask this is because the W950 was announced before the W850, and I couldnt find any mention of TrackID at that time)

Well here to help you again. Yes I am fairly sure that the W950 uses Track ID. It is also worth a mention that W950 has more functions in the Walkman program compared to the W850 etc. In mobile-review it said about the W850.

thanks again, shaliron. yeah hopefully it does. dunno if the W950 protos floating around have close-to-finalised firmware; it'd be nice if one of the owners post here (daz?) and confirm. TrackID is a MAJOR selling point. for me, at least

I was at the cinema yesterday and watched Pirates. The Girl on the seat in front of me had a W950 fully working and was showing it of the guy next to her.
I was like WTF can I touch it plz.
She must have thought I was one craazy guy LOL

I'm rather disappointed that the W950's release is now only Q4 but it's exactly what I want. Tough that it doesn't have a camera but the P990's too big & a 4GB MS Duo will cost way too much here in SA. Happy to wait.
