I think in 2000 or 2001 when BT was first released on phones, we were using BT to start chatting to girls . We were making a BT search and when we find girly user names we were sending our pictures with some notes because BT was new at those times, the girls found it amazing too. So I made good GF's , I even dated a famous Pop Star with the helps of my BT on my Nokia 7650. However those were the good times, and at that time there wasn't too many viruses trojans etc.
Since then I'm married and I don't do stuff like that, but I always keep my BT on and visible to other devices, as long as I don't accept anything stupid everything will be fine.

If anyone can help me I'd be grateful!
I can sync the phone via bluetooth, which operates fine. But I can't get my pc to recognise the phone when connected via usb. It's driving me nuts.
I've been into the mrouter and sync settings to see if there's something wrong, and even un/reinstalled all software a few times but no difference.
When connected for the first time the drivers all install, but the error message comes up that "there was a problem with your hardware installation and it might not work properly." After this point I try to connect the phone and no good. It connects ok if I change the settings to file transfer, but when switched back it's not found.
I've tried the newest pc suite upgrade and also installed the newest firmware which the phone was already shipped with, but no result.
Any ideas welcome.

Hi all, it would be really useful if those of you with the P990 could report problems here as the other P990 thread covers too much.
many thanks
Marc

What FW do you use? SE has come out with 2 new FWs since I got my phone. Last one for about 2-3 weeks ago.. Check the p990 firmware thread.

I don't think there is a way.. yet.. Let's hope someone at SE think of the same thing and make a change in some future update.

Is it possible to connect to the internet with BT??? The only way to use internet on the p990 is via GPRS/3G or WLAN.
Don't know what kind of BT you have on your computer.. must be something special BT-thing that talks with your modem or so?

hey everyone!
i bought and installed im+ on my 990, i have been using it for a few days now, but recently it has started to give me an error saying "memory not enough" and then it shuts down......i have a 2gb card in my phone, wat can i do to rectify this.?
I get this all the time especialy when trying to run "wayfinder" the gps program, the message you are getting does not refer to the staorage card you have rather the in devices internal memorywhich it seems to struggle to manage correctly try doing a firmware upgrade if you can that may help.
