Guys,
I upgraded to R4B03 and I am repenting my decision. The phone seem to crash more often than before and I don't see any frigging improvement in this release. I shouldn't have upgraded so soon.
Earliar I could go on without crashes for weeks but with the new firmware it crashed 4 times already in 1 week. Today, the phone froze while recording a video, the other day TomTom froze the phone.
I am pissed.
Is there anyway to get the previous version of the fw?

I also switched to Generic World 1 (cominig from CDA162008/87) with the help of the Kulankedi client. But my Phone is now R9EC001 as it should. I formated the internal drive and did a master reset before the CDA change and a second time right after it. Then I upgraded via SEUS and received Phone R9EC001 and Organizer R4B03 as expected. I did only a restore of contacts, calendar, notes and messages.
Maybe you should try ro reformat, master reset, update again and take a look at the versions right after the upgrade?

The PCSuite is no less buggy than the P990 OS. First, you can safely remove the additional com ports if you are using USB connection.
When you get the windows message that the device was not installed properly, open the "Device Manager" and find under "Universal Serial Bus Connectors" 2 items for the P990. If you see only one, no problem. Just uninstall it, then take out the USB cable and reconnect, the system should go through the routine of installing USB drivers and you should see 2 items in the "Universal Serial Bus Connectors" and 2 under "Ports" clearly identified as P990 stuff. You may have to repeat this process several times until it works.
Several months ago I downloaded a newer version of m-router but since then the company seems to have closed shop and the download is no longer available. See if you can find "mRouter3Installer_v31042.exe" (8.29 MB) on the web. Just keep trying the routine above, eventually it works

Are you confusing the P990 with the P900? For P990 the cable connects through USB, with or without the stand. If you connect your P990 to your PC using PCSuite and the 2 icons on the taskbar indicate that your phone is connected, all you need to do is use the synchronize button for accessing your data in outlook, even works with office 2007. You may need to go into the setup to determine how to handle the backup, i.e. contacts, notes, calendar and tasks.

After the update my 4 icons on the start board are starting to behave funny. After a while if I click at for example the menu icon it looks normal, but if i return to the desktop that icon is missing. Then I click at another one and then return to the desktop. That one is also missing, but the menu button is back and so on.
Anyone else who have noticed this?

For me this last firmware version is definitly worst than the previous. Now my phone sometimes freezes when i make a call and when i change themes. Also when i take a photo it takes about 20seconds to be able to take another!! I never had this problems and did not restore any backup so or is this crapy firmware fault or SEUS update fault and i already update the phone 3 times and made a internal disc format.

@manage69 had the same problem with the disappearing icons but since the latest firmware upgrade and use of Tweak Peaks my icons are okay.

miguel, just tested my camera, with opera running on bg and it worked fine...also never had a freeze when aplying themes...your situation is weird
