I think they all sell refurbs as new.. and with this models problems it's a good thing too. Only as long as the refurbs have the problems fixed of course.

Anyone got any details on availability/pricing on the C905+ mentioned here - http://justamp.blogspot.com/2[....]sson-c905-cyber-shot-plus.html

EDIT: Also did they fixed the hardware issues in this revision?

@kreacher
Try asking weirdwilli at SE-NSE forums, he claimed that he already bought one.

^ I'm not registered there, I'll try the official C905 thread here.

In the last 2 days i've been experiencing a problem with my C905. When say for instance i'm scrolling down a page when on opera mini or again scrolling down going into 'tasks' with the D pad it will after a few clicks with the D pad i end up going into a different menu or somewhere or will take me to my contacts. This only happens when click the D pad down and not when i click it up a number of times. Could it be a problem with the D pad or is it a software problem? Any help would be really appreciated guys

It could be that your are pressing the dpad too hard and as a result the bottom of the slider is hitting the numberical keypad underneath.
With my stiff dpad i'm having to push down so hard that occasionally it will register the number zero or 8.

The thing is angryman i apply the same kind of pressure to the D pad espeically as i say when scrolling down and after a clicks it tales me out of the menu i was in. Just wish i knew if it was the D pad or if it's software related. This only just happened out of the blue and have had no problems such as this in the past

I think you should try reinstalling the firmware...

Hi, I got a new SE C905 and it all seems fine other than there been a little bit of up/down wobble in the slider which seems to be worse when the slider is closed. It is a little irritating as there is some play in the phone when I am pressing buttons when slider is closed.

I am considering returning it and swapping it for another one, but I was wondering if it is likely the new one will have a similar problem?

Or should I stick with the one I have and be glad it has no other problems?

Thanks
