Hey Lollylost100: Any idea what the difference is between the new R1FB001 and the older R1FA014?
Also, any updates on getting apps through the market that are/were unavailable using the X10a Generic firmware (such as Tapatalk Pro)? I'd really like to de-brand but don't want to have such apps unavailable.

I don't know. This is the new update for X10a Generic Brazil. Nobody yet has confirmed if the Market is capped or not.

How do you update using this method??
I debranded using the 014 band firmware but now I want to try the new 021 version.
When I went into the program data there were no large files anymore?? There were only small ones. The two large ones
are no longer there.
Is your method a one shot deal and then you have to use a new method to install the generic firmwares?
Confused!??

They are "temporary" files you will have to download them again thru the repair function and then overwrite them as you did the first time, that is my thought anyway.

Over on XDA, user dorifuto.boi has installed it. Here's his initial post:
XDA - Debranding X10 (post 275)
He goes on to confirm that "R1FB001 is baseband 1.0.21.", but that the firmware seems to suffer the same missing Market App listings as are seen using the generic NA firmware.
...
Which make me wonder: Does the UK generic firmware for the X10i also suffer the same missing apps in the market? Can anyone using it confirm whether "
Tapatalk" (standard or pro) is available in the market

I am having problems to use Auto Internet Connection as this option is not available on my phone so i need to enter the APN setting everytime when i inserted a new sim. My phone is a white orangeone and i got it debranded and unlocked. my sisiter black generic one can use this function though.
Anyone having this problem as well and any solution for it please?
