Nice photos there. But then again all of your photos are nice Which leads me to my question, do you think that in normal daylight photos the Arc has an edge over X10? From what I see, I prefer X10 details and auto outputs. What do you think?

Having had the Arc I found it not much of a massive step in terms of image quality. I have even returned to owning an x10

Thanks. Sorry for my english but : i thing Arc is better than X10 in regular daylight shots. Less compression in details, overall a bit more sharper and more warmer colors (for those who likes). Better dynamic range/sometimes a bit too bright (but you have exposure compensation setting).

I noticed that with the x10 the edges of the pictures were sometimes a bit darker than center and also a pinkish or purple color in the center (not that much & not on every pics). I think the x10 is a bit better than Arc at night to the noise issue.

Which one you preferred to use between dedicated shutter button or touch screen to capture. After have little played with yesterday I think dedicated shutter just real frustrate for me, very tiny and lacks of tactile feedback

please share your technique and opinion

Always a shutter button. It's actually very good for me.

This is not my Xperia Arc, but I took these photos to test drive the camera. It has vivid and really close colour representation in really dark ambience, though the amount of noise is appalling But that being said, it still takes much better night photos than my 4 year old dedicated Kodak digital camera All these photos are much brighter than they actually are especially the 7th photo which only had those dim ambient lights that you can see. I'll try some day shots tomorrow as I only had it this evening
