Is it possible that play.com are actually correct and it's really coming this month? I've just seen that they're not the only retailer to be given info that release is imminent. Clicking on Product Q&A on this page of the handtec website concurs:

NO. The word on the street is that it will be available first half of March

Not saying Handtec's info is 100% correct. But im sure their word is more reliable than 'word on the street'!
Sony have said March, who knows, maybe its coming sooner.... Time will tell.

the music player looks a lot like the one on the upcoming sony z1000 walkman...albeit because they are both android...now i don't know if i want the walkman anymore since i definitely will be getting the xperia s in white...i just hope the music player in the xperia s is somewhere close to the quality of the walkmans...

Is it true that the viewing angles on the Xperia S are much improved compared to the Arc?

Wow, heaps of things in the new music player I've wanted on Android for ages, the ability to edit metadata on the phone itself is definitely a big thing for me (atleast thats how it looked on the video).

Same here, ability to edit Metadata, also Integrate the Track-Id into the player too so when it identifies the track an option comes as if to save the details in the playing track.

Can someone help me by advising if the international version of the Sony Xperia S (LT26i) will be compatible with USA 3G data? I'm surprised no one has talked about this yet, unless I'm blind. The main reason I'm concerned is because in the past it has typically taken Sony a couple months or more to release their "a" models.
