Can anybody explain me what benefits do a user gets for waiting Odin and not buy Xperia T/V?
Quad core and other features everybody has mentioned but how far the quad core brings the excellence in software and what difference every other feature that Odin has and Xperia T/V does not make a difference?
I'm trying to compare 2012 device with upcoming 2013
For me, if money ain't a problem I'd buy the Xperia V. I can also go for T, but I prefer V. Anyway, hopefully, the V would get the 4.1 update by January. By February, Odin and Yuga would be announced, probably even with 4.2. But 4.2 seems to be just an update of 4.1, so 4.1 would be good enough. Also, there's a high chance that V would also get the 4.2 update anyway. By April, when the devices gets launched, you'd probably have the 4.2 update if I ain't dreaming too much. And since randomuser said that there wouldn't be much of a big improvement in those devices compared to 2012's, I'd rather wait for the real deal of the 2H devices while you have the Xperia V. Just my two cents.
Anyway, does anyone know the difference between the first Bravia Engine and BE 2? Is it the same as what is on their TVs?

Yeah but Odin is a quad core phone and V is a dual core. What difference does it make?
I was just checking out windows phone and it's really nice. Any news Sony coming up with Windows Mobile? This surely seems to be the future. I really think Windows Mobile has a lot of potential, even more than Android and iOS.
Look at the speed of Windows RT, it's mind blowing

If Dogo has a 720p screen, good build quality and quad s4 that's my next phone. Couldn't care less about 1080p in a phone

Sony’s new 5-inch 1080p display may feature WhiteMagic technology
We previously reported on the fact that at least one of Sony Mobile’s upcoming 2013 flagship is likely to feature a 5-inch (1920 x 1080) display with an impressive 443 PPI. The display will be developed by Japan Display Inc (JDI) and the press release published in early October suggested it would be a TFT-LCD IPS display in RGB configuration.
However, a more recent press release from JDI regarding display prototypes for vehicles suggests that a WhiteMagic display could be inbound. It talks of a 5-inch 1080p display with 438 PPI and “low power consumption that is approximately 50% less by utilizing an RGBW pixel structure”. This display also includes an “integrated touch function (without cover glass)”, probably similar to Sony’s sensor-on-lens touch screen technology.
As a reminder, a WhiteMagic display has the red, green blue and white (RGBW) sub pixels aligned horizontally. The additional white sub-pixel significantly increases display brightness compared to normal LCD and OLED screens. The technology can be used to double the brightness or to save 50% of the backlight power, as suggested by the JDI press release. There’s no guarantee WhiteMagic will appear in this 5-inch 1080p display, but it looks like the technology is there if Sony wants to use it.

From the Xperiablog link:
http://www.j-display.com/english/news/2012/20121018.html
The Innovation Vehicle for tablet applications features key technologies adopted into a 7.0-inch diagonal size module with high WQXGA resolution (2560 x 1600 pixels) and pixel density of 431ppi, with high contrast ratio of 2000:1 achieved by implementing new IPS technology, with low power consumption that is approximately 50% less*4 by utilizing an RGBW pixel structure, with a thin module structure of only 1.3 mm thickness including an integrated touch function (without cover glass), and with a narrow border of 1.5 mm.
Wow, will they use this for a flagship 7-inch Xperia tablet?
